📝 Important notes:

• Using the device in a Matter ecosystem requires a Matter Controller for that system and a Thread Border Router.

• An Aqara Zigbee hub is required.

• Factory reset is required to switch between protocols (Zigbee ↔ Thread).

• Previous wireless button configurations are lost when the sensor is connected to an Aqara thermostat.

• The secondary display only works in Zigbee mode connected to an Aqara hub.

• Connection with the Aqara E1 radiator thermostat is only possible via the Aqara Home app in Zigbee mode.

• Battery life is estimated based on Aqara lab tests.

• Customisation of sampling frequency and messaging is only available in Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home app.

The sensor is equipped with three smart buttons that can trigger different actions with a single, double or long press - in total 9 different automations. You can switch devices on/off, activate comfort modes or scenes, all with a simple tap.

In Zigbee mode, the sensor can be connected to another Aqara temperature and humidity sensor, displaying additional data in the secondary area of the display. If an external sensor is not connected, the secondary area will display the local values, giving a clear picture of the environment.

🌡️ Integration with HVAC for remote control

The sensor can be connected:

• to an Aqara thermostat via a hub

• or to an IR air conditioner via Aqara Hub M3

So you can set the desired temperature, humidity and modes directly from the app without manual intervention.

Powered by 2 CR2450 batteries, offering a battery life of:

• up to 2.4 years in Zigbee mode

• up to 2.3 years in Thread mode
