The Shelly BLU RC Button 4 is a four-button Bluetooth smart remote control, designed for quick control of smart home scenes, handheld or mounted on the wall using the included magnetic holder. Each button supports single, double, triple and long press, giving access to up to 16 different actions from a single compact device.

It is suitable for controlling lighting scenes, opening and closing motorised roller shutters or blinds, operating garage gates or triggering other automations in the home, without needing a phone to hand. The magnetic holder allows mounting both on standard wall boxes and on flat surfaces, giving flexibility in choosing where to use it.

The replaceable battery provides up to 2 years of battery life, and encrypted communication ensures safe, stable operation in any home equipped with Shelly devices.

Attention: The Shelly BLU RC Button 4 communicates over Bluetooth and requires a Shelly device with gateway functionality (for example the Shelly BLU Gateway or another Shelly WiFi device with BLU support) to be integrated into the Shelly Smart Control app and into automations.

Practical use cases

• Mounted on the magnetic holder next to the front door, it turns on the hallway lights on arrival and turns them all off on departure, each action on a different button.
• In the living room, the four buttons with single, double, triple or long press activate different lighting scenes (film, dinner, reading), without a phone at hand.
• Lifted from its holder and used as a remote control, it raises and lowers motorised roller shutters or blinds right from the sofa.
• Controls the gate or garage door through the Shelly device that operates it, as long as a Shelly gateway (for example Shelly BLU Gateway) is within range.
