Note: In Zigbee mode, this product requires a compatible Zigbee hub/bridge (e.g. Aqara Hub / Aqara Hub E1 / Aqara Hub M2 / Aqara Hub M3) to connect to the network and for the advanced functions in the Aqara Home app. In Thread mode it connects directly to Matter platforms (Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings), without an Aqara hub, via a compatible Matter controller. It does not work standalone over WiFi.

3. Heating Savings: If the sensor detects no presence for 30 minutes, the heating system (e.g. the W500 thermostat) automatically lowers the temperature to 10 °C to save energy while you are away.
