Description
What does "open box" mean?
Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.
Shelly Plus 0-10V Dimmer is a dimming controller for light fittings equipped with 0-10V or 1-10V drivers, allowing existing switches to be integrated into a smart lighting system. It is installed behind the classic switch, keeping the existing wiring.
It works standalone on the local WiFi network, without needing a separate hub, and provides full control of light intensity from the Shelly app, through scenes and schedules. It is compatible with most LED drivers and electronic ballasts that accept an analogue dimming signal.
It is suitable for upgrading commercial or residential lighting systems with existing 0-10V drivers, for creating lighting scenes in offices and conference rooms, or for saving energy by automatically adjusting intensity according to the time of day or occupancy.
Practical use cases
- Installed on the lighting circuit of a living room, it lets you adjust light intensity directly from the app or by voice command, for the right atmosphere at every moment of the day.
- Integrated into an automation system, it can gradually lower the brightness in the evening, simulating an artificial sunset that helps you relax before bed.
- Combined with a motion sensor, it turns on the hallway lights at reduced intensity at night, without disturbing anyone with overly bright light.
- Allows different scenes (reading, relaxing, entertaining) to be created for the same light fitting with a 0-10V driver, without having to install a classic wall dimmer.
