What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly 2-Output PowerBase for Wall Display is a power and switching base with two independent outputs, intended for the Shelly Wall Display i series (X2i, X1i). In practice, this board replaces the standard single-output base originally supplied with the screen, adding the ability to control two separate circuits - for example two groups of bulbs or two electrical appliances - directly from the wall-mounted screen.

It is installed in the existing wall box, in place of the original base: the old base is disconnected from the screen, the new two-output base is wired in the same position, and then the Wall Display screen is refitted on top of it. Once installed, it allows direct control of the connected lights or appliances from the screen's touch interface, without needing the phone app for day-to-day operations.

It is a practical solution for homes, offices or rented spaces where you want to extend the functionality of an already installed Wall Display, providing local control of two different zones from a single location - for example the main light and a bedside lamp, or two separately controlled sockets.

Note: the product does not work on its own and requires a Shelly Wall Display from the i series (X2i or X1i) to be mounted on top of the base. Installation involves working with mains voltage and must be carried out by a qualified person, with the power switched off at the electrical panel.
