What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly EM is the smart energy meter that brings professional consumption monitoring to a compact device mounted directly in the electrical panel. Through two independent measurement channels, fed by non-invasive current clamps, Shelly EM reads the power, voltage, current and energy consumed on each monitored circuit in real time, without having to cut the existing cables or modify the installation.

In addition to measurement, the device has a built-in relay that can control a contactor, useful for automatically switching off a load when a set power threshold is exceeded, a handy protection feature for installations with heavy loads such as water heaters, heat pumps or electric car chargers. The measured data is available in the Shelly app, with history and charts, and can also be accessed via the API for integration into your own energy management systems.
