What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly Presence Gen4 Black is a smart presence sensor based on mmWave (60-64 GHz) radar technology, able to detect people even when they are sitting still, unlike traditional infrared motion sensors, which need movement to trigger.

The sensor can identify up to 6 distinct people at the same time and supports up to 10 custom detection zones, covering an area of up to 42 m². The detection range is adjustable and can reach 5-7 metres, making it suitable for medium to large rooms, offices or shared spaces.

Multi-protocol connectivity includes WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE and Zigbee 3.0, with Matter-over-WiFi support, offering maximum flexibility for integration into modern smart home ecosystems. The sensor also integrates light and humidity measurement, extending automation possibilities beyond simple presence detection.

Note: the device is powered via USB-C (5V DC) and is intended for indoor use, in rooms of up to 8x8m, with an optimal mounting height of 2m and a maximum room height of 5m.
