Open box Shelly Wall Display X2 Black – Smart Home Control Panel, 4" Touchscreen, Bluetooth Gateway and Integrated Sensors

What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly Wall Display X2 Black is a compact smart home control panel with a 4-inch colour touchscreen, designed for wall mounting in place of or next to a conventional switch. It gives quick access to control of lights, sockets and other Shelly devices in the home through a simple, customisable interface.

The device integrates temperature, humidity and light sensors, providing environmental data useful for automations such as starting ventilation at high humidity or adjusting lighting according to natural light. WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity allows both remote control and operation as a Bluetooth gateway for nearby Shelly BLU devices.

The panel has a built-in 5A dry contact relay that can directly control a lighting circuit or another low-to-medium power load, without needing a separate Shelly relay for that circuit. It is suitable for hallways, bedrooms or kitchens, where mounting space is limited but full touch control is still wanted.

Attention: installation requires a 110-240VAC power supply and must be carried out by qualified personnel, according to the wiring diagram in the product manual.

Practical use cases

• Replaces a conventional wall switch with a touch panel that controls the lights, temperature and other smart devices in that room.
• It can display live data from the Shelly sensors in the home (temperature, humidity, energy consumption), working as a central wall-mounted dashboard.
• Useful in the living room or kitchen, where family members can quickly control the home's scenes without using their phone.
• It can be customised with quick buttons for the most frequently used scenes (leaving home, evening, night).
