Open box Shelly Wall Display X2i Black – Smart Touch Panel 6.9", Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth 5.0, Control Hub and 5A Relay

What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

The Shelly Wall Display X2i Black is a touch control panel for the smart home, with a 6.9 inch colour screen and an HD resolution of 1440x720 pixels. The 5-point capacitive screen offers a fully customisable layout, with horizontal or vertical mounting directly in a standard switch wall box.

The quad-core Rockchip RK3326-S processor at 1.5 GHz, together with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB flash memory, runs Android 11 and ensures a smooth interface for controlling lights, temperature and scenes throughout the home. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity guarantee stable communication with the other Shelly devices.

The built-in gesture and proximity sensors allow touch-free interaction, useful in the kitchen or bathroom where your hands may be busy or wet, while the ambient light sensor (LUX) automatically adjusts the screen brightness. A built-in 0.8W speaker enables audible alerts and audio feedback directly from the panel.

Note: installation involves electrical mounting in the wall box and must be carried out by a qualified electrician; the included power base provides control of one output circuit and can be replaced with the 2-output Power Base for extended functionality.

Practical use cases

• Replaces a conventional wall switch with a touch panel that controls the lights, temperature and other smart devices in that room.
• It can display live data from the Shelly sensors in the home (temperature, humidity, energy consumption), working as a central wall-mounted dashboard.
• Useful in the living room or kitchen, where family members can quickly control the home's scenes without using their phone.
• It can be customised with quick buttons for the most frequently used scenes (leaving home, evening, night).

Technical specifications

With a large screen, a powerful processor and multiple sensors, the Wall Display X2i becomes the visual command centre of any modern home, replacing both the conventional switch and the universal remote control.
