Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.
Shelly Wall Display X1i is a smart home control panel with a 4-inch colour screen and an interchangeable power base. It mounts in a wall box, in place of a standard switch, and becomes the central control point for the devices in your home.
The panel ships with a power base that also provides switching for one load circuit, so it effectively replaces the switch it takes the place of. If control of two circuits is needed, the base can be swapped for the Shelly 2-Output Power Base for Wall Display. The screen is a 5-point capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720x720 px, and the housing combines plastic with aluminium and glass.

Practical use cases
- Replacing the switch at the living room entrance. The panel takes over control of the lighting circuit through the included power base and adds, in the same spot on the wall, access to the thermostat, scenes and the rest of the devices in the home.
- Control point in the hallway, by the door. A single screen replaces several remotes and apps: when you leave, you activate the scene that turns off the lights and lowers the temperature, without taking out your phone.
- Hotel room or rental apartment. Guests get a simple, visible panel for lighting and climate control, and the built-in speaker can signal notifications, without them having to install any app.
- Renovation where control of two circuits is wanted. Keep the same display and fit the two-output base, so the panel controls, for example, the chandelier and the spotlights in the same room separately.
