Open box Smart plug Shelly Plug S GEN3, WiFi, Matter, Bluetooth with energy monitoring, Black

What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly Plug S Gen3 Black is a WiFi smart plug with power metering, designed for remote control of any electrical appliance connected through a standard socket. It supports up to 2500W and provides accurate real-time energy consumption data, directly in the Shelly Smart Control app.

Being Matter certified, it integrates automatically with all major smart home ecosystems, working independently on the local WiFi network with no need for an additional hub. It can also be controlled via Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant or Samsung SmartThings, offering maximum flexibility in choosing your automation platform.

The built-in LEDs indicate both the consumption level and the network connection status, providing quick visual feedback. It supports schedules, automatic timers and webhooks, making it suitable for controlling lamps, chargers, small appliances or any equipment that plugs directly into a socket.

Practical use cases

• Connected to a floor or desk lamp, it lets you switch it on and off remotely or on a schedule, with no changes to the electrical installation.
• Used for a charger, a travel kettle or other appliances that should not be left plugged in permanently, with scheduled automatic switch-off.
• Useful for simulating presence in the home during holidays, switching electrical appliances on and off on a random schedule.
• Monitors the consumption of the connected appliance, giving a clear estimate of the monthly running cost.
