What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly Pro Dimmer 2PM is the two-channel version of the professional DIN rail dimmer, with power metering on each individual channel. It allows independent control of two dimmable lighting circuits from a single compact module installed in the electrical panel.

Each channel supports up to 200W of dimmable LED, 180W electronic transformers, 200W incandescent or halogen lamps and 50W fluorescent lamps. Connectivity combines WiFi, wired LAN via RJ45 and Bluetooth, the latter allowing it to act as a gateway for battery-powered Shelly BLU devices.

It is suitable for professional dimming on two separate circuits in an office or commercial space, for lighting scenes with different zones controlled independently, or for projects where two dimmers are to be consolidated into a single DIN module with energy metering.

Practical use cases

• Installed on the lighting circuit of a living room, it lets you adjust light intensity directly from the app or by voice command, for the right atmosphere at every moment of the day.
• Integrated into an automation system, it can gradually lower the brightness in the evening, simulating an artificial sunset that helps you relax before bed.
• Combined with a motion sensor, it turns on the hallway lights at reduced intensity at night, without disturbing anyone with overly bright light.
• Lets you create different scenes (reading, relaxing, entertaining) for the same bulb or chandelier, with no need to install a classic wall dimmer.
