What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly Qubino Wave 2PM is a two-channel Z-Wave relay with power measurement, built on the latest Z-Wave 800 chipset. It allows independent control of two electrical circuits, each with its own consumption measurement, plus a total reading for the whole device.

It offers the option to choose between Z-Wave Long Range and Z-Wave Plus frequencies, depending on the existing network, and benefits from Security 2 Authenticated security for enhanced protection of communication. Installation is easy via SmartStart, and the device's own power consumption is extremely low.

It is suitable for controlling two lighting or socket circuits from a single wall box, for automating separate pieces of equipment in a room, or for integration into existing Z-Wave systems where you want to add energy measurement on additional circuits.

Warning: Shelly Qubino Wave 2PM uses the Z-Wave protocol exclusively and requires a compatible Z-Wave controller or hub (for example Home Assistant with a Z-Wave adapter, or another Z-Wave controller) in order to be controlled and automated.

• Note: Requires a compatible Z-Wave hub/controller (e.g. Home Assistant with a Z-Wave adapter) to be connected to the network and controlled from the app.
