What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly Wave PRO 1PM is a professional 1-channel Z-Wave relay, designed for DIN rail mounting inside the electrical panel, with built-in power measurement for the circuit. It supports up to 16A per channel, covering both residential and commercial applications.

The potential-free outputs offer great flexibility in choosing the voltage and type of load controlled, from lighting to HVAC equipment or other light industrial appliances. The Wave PRO series benefits from advanced protection against overtemperature, overpower and overvoltage, and is built for continuous, reliable operation in professional electrical panels.

It uses the latest Z-Wave S800 chip, with extremely low consumption (under 0.3W) and support for Security 2 Authenticated, the highest level of security available, including over-the-air firmware updates. It integrates with any certified Z-Wave gateway and with the entire network of over 4000 compatible devices.

Warning: Shelly Wave PRO 1PM uses Z-Wave technology and requires a compatible Z-Wave hub or controller in order to be integrated and controlled.

Practical use cases

• It integrates into an existing Z-Wave network (Z-Wave hub, Home Assistant with a Z-Wave stick, or another compatible controller), extending home automation without adding a new ecosystem.
• Mounted on a DIN rail in the electrical panel, it controls a lighting circuit or HVAC equipment of up to 16A and measures its consumption, with the data available in the Z-Wave controller.
• Each Wave device also works as a repeater in the Z-Wave mesh network, helping to extend the signal to other, more distant nodes.
• Note: Requires a compatible Z-Wave hub/controller (e.g. Home Assistant with a Z-Wave adapter) to be connected to the network and controlled from the app.
