What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 - Stand Alone is a four-button Bluetooth control panel designed to replace or complement a classic wall switch, offering touch control for up to 16 different scenes through combinations of single, double, triple and long presses. The slim design and elegant ivory finish make it suitable for any room in the home.

The Stand Alone version is supplied without a frame adapter and can be mounted directly on the wall using the dedicated bracket, independently of the existing switch system, making it the most flexible option for mounting anywhere in the home.

It is powered by a CR2032 battery with up to 2 years of battery life and communicates via encrypted Bluetooth, with no need for additional electrical wiring. It can be used to control lighting scenes, activate evening automations, open roller shutters or trigger any other scene configured in the Shelly app.

Note: Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 communicates via Bluetooth and requires a Shelly device with gateway functionality (for example Shelly BLU Gateway or another Shelly WiFi device with BLU support) to be integrated into the Shelly Smart Control app and into automations.

Practical use cases

• Mounted on the wall next to the front door, the four buttons can turn on the hallway lighting, turn off all the lights on departure, lower the roller shutters or activate an evening scene, each action linked to a different type of press (single, double, triple or long).
• Used as a standalone remote control (Stand Alone), it can be placed anywhere in the home, without electrical wiring, to control a room's lighting scenes.
• Integrated into an existing switch frame, it adds control for up to 16 scenes without modifying the electrical installation.
• Paired with a Shelly BLU gateway or a Shelly WiFi device with BLU support, it triggers the automations configured in the Shelly Smart Control app.
