What does "open box" mean?

Open-box products are returned products with opened or damaged packaging, but fully checked from a technical point of view and completely functional. They come with the same warranty as new products.

Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 + Gira/Merten Adapter is a four-button Bluetooth control panel, designed to replace or complement a conventional wall switch, offering touch control for up to 16 different scenes through combinations of single, double, triple and long presses. Its slim design and elegant ivory finish make it suitable for any room in the home.

This bundle includes the adapter compatible with Gira and Merten frames, allowing the panel to be integrated directly into the existing switch system, without changing the overall look of the wall frame.

It is powered by a CR2032 battery with up to 2 years of battery life and communicates via encrypted Bluetooth, with no need for additional electrical wiring. It can be used to control lighting scenes, activate evening automations, open roller shutters or trigger any other scene configured in the Shelly app.

Note: Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 communicates via Bluetooth and requires a Shelly device with gateway functionality (for example Shelly BLU Gateway or another Shelly WiFi device with BLU support) to be integrated into the Shelly Smart Control app and into automations.

Practical use cases

• Mounted in an existing Gira or Merten frame, next to classic switches, it adds four buttons for lighting scenes without changing the look of the wall.
• The four buttons, with single, double, triple and long press, can trigger up to 16 actions: for example switching on the living room lights, lowering the roller shutters or the evening scene.
• Together with a Shelly BLU Gateway or a Shelly WiFi device with BLU support, it triggers automations configured in the Shelly Smart Control app.
• Being powered by a CR2032 battery, it can also be mounted where there is no cable to the desired spot, without additional electrical wiring.
