Shelly Wave PRO Shutter is a professional Z-Wave relay for controlling motorised roller shutters, blinds, Venetian blinds and awnings, designed for DIN rail mounting in the electrical panel. It supports up to 16A per channel and includes built-in power metering, allowing you to track the consumption of the connected motors.

It mounts on the DIN rail in the electrical panel, from where it adds full automated control of the connected motors. It has overheating, overpower and overvoltage protection and is built for reliable long-term operation in residential and commercial installations.

An important advantage of this model is its extended signal range of up to 40m, thanks to the built-in Z-Wave repeater function, which helps extend the network to other Z-Wave devices in the home. It supports both the classic Z-Wave (mesh) topology and Z-Wave Long Range, offering flexibility in network design.

Note: Shelly Wave PRO Shutter uses Z-Wave technology and requires a compatible Z-Wave hub or controller to be integrated and controlled.

Practical use cases

• Mounted on a DIN rail in the electrical panel, it controls the motor of a roller shutter, blind or awning via the two relay outputs of up to 16A, with no modules hidden in wall boxes.
• Integrated into an existing Z-Wave network (Z-Wave hub, Home Assistant with a Z-Wave stick or another compatible controller), it allows the roller shutters to be opened and closed from the app or through automated scenes, without adding a new ecosystem.
• The built-in power metering shows the consumption of the connected motors, useful for tracking the operation of motorised blinds and shades.
• In the Z-Wave mesh network it also works as a repeater, helping to extend the signal to other, more distant Z-Wave devices.
• Note: Requires a compatible Z-Wave hub/controller (e.g. Home Assistant with a Z-Wave adapter) to be connected to the network and controlled from the app.
