Shelly Plug M Gen3 Black is a compact smart plug with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity that allows remote control of any electrical appliance plugged into it, directly from the phone app, with no additional wiring needed. It is installed simply by plugging it into the wall socket, with no tools and no electrical work.

The plug monitors the energy consumption of the connected appliance in real time, providing clear data on how much electricity is being used and making it possible to identify power-hungry appliances. It supports a current of up to 13A (maximum 3000 W, resistive load) and has overheating protection, with energy limitation class 3 for safe operation. The black colour blends easily with most sockets and spaces in the home.

A practical example of use is receiving a notification on your phone when the washing machine, tumble dryer or dishwasher finishes its cycle, based on the drop in energy consumption. It can also be scheduled to automatically switch off a charger or an electric water heater after a certain interval, or included in automation scenes alongside other devices in the home.

Caution: remote control and automations require the local Wi-Fi network and the Shelly Smart Control app. The plug is Matter compatible and also works with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings or Home Assistant.
