Description
The Shelly Pro 3EM 120A is the professional energy meter for three-phase installations, mounted on a DIN rail in the electrical panel and supplied with three 120A current clamps, one for each phase. It measures voltage, current, active and apparent power, power factor and energy consumed on each individual phase in real time, giving a complete picture of the consumption of a house, flat or commercial space with a three-phase supply.
Being ready for photovoltaic systems, the device supports 4-quadrant metering, which means it can track both energy drawn from the grid and energy produced and fed back into the grid by a solar panel system. Data is stored locally, in non-volatile memory, for up to 60 days at 1-minute intervals, and an internal real-time clock keeps time synchronised even without a connection to an NTP server.
LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity work simultaneously, and communication can be local or via the cloud using protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket, all secured with TLS. It is the right device for integrators and owners of photovoltaic systems who need accurate, real-time data on the energy production and consumption of a three-phase installation.
