Shelly Wall Display XL Black – 10.1″ smart touch panel for central home control

The Shelly Wall Display XL Black is a 10.1 inch smart home control panel, designed to centralise home management on a single wall-mounted touchscreen. The 5-point capacitive screen, with a resolution of 1280x752px, offers a fully customisable layout for controlling lights, sockets, thermostats, cameras and other connected devices.

Dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity ensure a stable link to the local network and to nearby Shelly BLU devices, for which the panel can act as a gateway. The four customisable physical buttons give quick access to favourite scenes and automations without navigating the touch interface.

In addition to the control function, the panel integrates a 5A relay for direct control of a circuit, two 2W stereo speakers with Sonos support and internet radio, as well as proximity and light sensors for automatic display adjustment. It is suitable for hallways, living rooms or offices where a central control point visible and accessible to the whole family is wanted.

Please note: installation requires a neutral wire at the installation location and must be carried out by qualified personnel, as the panel runs on a 100-240VAC power supply.

Practical use cases

• Replaces a conventional wall switch with a touch panel that controls the lights, temperature and other smart devices in that room.
• It can display live data from the Shelly sensors in the home (temperature, humidity, energy consumption), working as a central wall-mounted dashboard.
• Useful in the living room or kitchen, where family members can quickly control the home's scenes without using their phone.
• It can be customised with quick buttons for the most frequently used scenes (leaving home, evening, night).
