Shelly Wave Outdoor Plug S LR – Outdoor Smart Plug, Z-Wave 800, Energy Monitoring, Long Range Technology

The Shelly Wave Outdoor Plug S LR is an outdoor smart plug with IP44 protection, designed for controlling electrical appliances installed outside the house, such as decorative lighting, garden pumps or Christmas lights. It runs on the Z-Wave 800 protocol and supports both the classic mesh topology and Z-Wave Long Range, which provides coverage of up to 80 metres indoors through walls and up to 1000 metres outdoors with direct line of sight.

The plug supports loads of up to 12A (2500W) at the standard voltage of 230V AC and integrates real-time energy monitoring, useful for tracking the costs of outdoor lighting or seasonal equipment. Installation is Plug & Play, with no additional wiring, directly into an existing outdoor socket.

Built-in protection against overheating, overcurrent and overvoltage ensures safe long-term operation, even in the humidity and temperature variations typical of outdoor conditions. Its low own consumption, of up to 0.7W, keeps the energy efficiency of the whole installation high.

Note: the plug requires a compatible Z-Wave hub or gateway for setup and control; it does not replace the electrical protection of the installation and must be used in accordance with the maximum load guidance.
