Aqara Dimmer Switch H2 EU – Smart rotary switch, Zigbee and Thread compatible

Aqara Dimmer Switch H2 EU is a multifunctional smart switch with a rotary knob, designed for broad compatibility and maximum comfort. It supports both Zigbee and Matter over Thread, for seamless integration with third-party ecosystems. It works with or without a neutral wire and is compatible with a variety of light sources: incandescent, halogen, dimmable LEDs and CFLs. It lets you change the dimming mode according to the type of load, for stable and efficient operation.

Note: In Zigbee mode, this product requires a compatible Zigbee hub/bridge (e.g. Aqara Hub / Aqara Hub E1 / Aqara Hub M2 / Aqara Hub M3) to be connected to the network and for Aqara-exclusive functions. In Thread mode it connects directly to Matter ecosystems (Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa), without an Aqara hub, via the ecosystem's Matter controller. It does not work independently over WiFi.

The switch offers dual support:

• Thread mode: no Aqara hub required to connect to Matter ecosystems (e.g. Apple, Google, Alexa).

• Zigbee mode: unlocks exclusive Aqara features, such as MARS-Tech, power monitoring and fine control.

Easy installation with or without a neutral wire
Whether or not your home has a neutral wire, the switch is compatible:

• No changes to the electrical installation required.

• With a neutral wire: enables overload protection and energy monitoring.

Multifunctional rotary knob

• Press: on/off.

• Rotate: fine adjustment between 1% - 100%.

• Adjustable transition time between 0 - 10 seconds.

• Customisable rotation sensitivity.

Broad compatibility with light sources
Compatible with:

• Incandescent bulbs

• Halogen

• Dimmable LEDs/CFLs
  Default mode: Trailing Edge Dimming (the most stable method for most light sources).

Compatible with standard 55 mm frames
Fits popular European modular frames (Gira, Merten, Schneider etc.).

Energy monitoring
With a Zigbee connection and a neutral wire, the switch can:

• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly consumption.

• Generate reports in the Aqara Home app.

Brightness range setting
You can set the maximum/minimum values to avoid flickering or low-power bulbs switching off accidentally.
