Description
The Shelly DALI Dimmer Gen3 is a control module for DALI lighting systems, designed for integrators and installers working with professional light fittings in offices, commercial spaces or smart buildings. The device connects to the DALI bus and can control up to 5 DALI units on that bus, providing fine brightness adjustment (DT6) for compatible fittings.
WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity allows remote control via the Shelly Smart Control app, integration into automation scenes and connection to platforms such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Home Assistant, without needing an additional proprietary hub. The module includes a power supply for the DALI bus, with a maximum output current below 35mA, enough to power the connected units.
It is useful in commercial lighting projects where you want to keep the existing DALI infrastructure but add smart control over WiFi: open-plan offices, conference rooms, showrooms or flats with professional lighting systems. Through the additional inputs, the device can also be operated from physical wall-mounted switches.
Attention: this product works directly on the local WiFi network and does not need a separate Shelly hub for basic control, but for advanced multi-device automations integration into an existing smart home ecosystem is recommended.
