Description
Shelly 1 Gen3 is a single-channel WiFi smart relay, able to switch up to 16A, designed for remote control of electrical appliances from a phone, tablet or home automation system. The potential-free contacts allow a wide range of loads to be connected, from conventional lighting to pumps, water heaters or other consumers that only need an on/off command.
The compact design allows mounting in a wall box, behind an existing switch or socket, without needing extra space in the electrical panel. It is powered either by 110-240V alternating current or by 24-48V direct current, which also makes it suitable for low-voltage applications, such as solar systems or light industrial automation.
The new ESP-Shelly-C3F processor, with memory increased to 8 MB, offers better performance and greater stability than previous generations. The device supports WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2, can be integrated with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings, and works both independently on the local network and through cloud services.

- Mounted behind a conventional wall switch, it turns a room's lighting into a circuit controlled from the app, by voice command or automatically, without replacing the existing switch.

Yes, when powered at 110-240 V~ it needs a neutral. It can also be powered by direct current, at 12 V⎓ or 24-48 V⎓.
