Shelly 2PM Gen4 is a two-channel smart relay with power measurement on each channel, designed for controlling lights, electrical appliances and motorised shutters, blinds or curtains. It offers multi-protocol connectivity - Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Matter.

In cover mode, the device controls bidirectional AC motors, allowing precise positioning of shutters and control of the slat angle on Venetian blinds. In switch mode, the two channels can be used independently for two separate circuits, each with its own consumption measurement.

Shelly 2PM Gen4 supports schedules, scenes, local actions and advanced scripting, plus protection against overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent, overload and obstacle detection in cover mode. It also works as a Wi-Fi and Zigbee signal extender, as well as a Bluetooth gateway for Shelly BLU accessories.

In practice, Shelly 2PM Gen4 is the right choice for automating a roller shutter in the bedroom or a Venetian blind in the office, with automatic scheduling based on sunrise and sunset times, as well as for separately controlling two lighting circuits in a living room with different zones.

Note: no additional hub is needed to operate via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (used only for inclusion and as a gateway) or Matter. If you choose Zigbee connectivity, however, a compatible Zigbee hub or coordinator is required (for example a Home Assistant integration), according to Shelly's official specifications for Gen4 devices.
