Sonoff S-MATE2 is a smart module with 3 control channels, designed to add smart functionality to conventional switches without changing the existing wiring. It works via eWeLink-Remote technology, allowing control of other compatible Sonoff devices without a WiFi connection or additional wires.

Turn conventional switches into smart controls

Mount S-MATE2 in the wall box, behind the traditional switch, and pair it wirelessly with a compatible Sonoff relay (e.g. Mini R4, Basic R4, Dual R3, etc.) – this way, the classic switch will be able to remotely control a smart device via the eWeLink-Remote wireless signal.

Note:

S-MATE2 does not directly control bulbs or electrical appliances. It sends a signal to other compatible Sonoff devices, which switch the connected load.

• Mounted in the wall box behind a classic 3-gang switch, it lets each rocker wirelessly control a compatible Sonoff relay (e.g. Mini R4), with no new cables and no neutral wire.
• Used in renovations, for control from multiple points (e.g. top and bottom of the stairs) without running new wires through the wall.
• It keeps the existing switches (rocker, momentary or toggle) and turns them into controls for smart devices that work locally, without internet or a router.
