Description
The Shelly Wall Display Black is a smart home control panel with a 4-inch colour touchscreen, mounted directly in the electrical wall box in place of a conventional switch. It comes with the Shelly BLU H&T sensor, which provides accurate temperature and humidity data for the room in which it is installed.
The customisable screen displays up to 6 favourite devices, the room's temperature, humidity and energy consumption, all visible at a glance. A built-in 5 A relay allows direct control of a lighting circuit or other equipment, and a two-finger double tap quickly toggles the relay without needing to look at the screen.
It is suitable for replacing conventional switches with a complete control panel for the room, for the smart thermostat function together with the included BLU H&T sensor, or for centralising control of scenes, groups and devices in a room.
Note: For the BLU gateway function to other Shelly BLU devices or for full integration in the Shelly Smart Control app, an additional Shelly BLU gateway or another Shelly Plus/Pro/Gen3/Gen4 device on the network is recommended.
Practical use cases
- Replaces a conventional wall switch with a touch panel that controls the lights, temperature and other smart devices in that room.
- It can display live data from the Shelly sensors in the home (temperature, humidity, energy consumption), working as a central wall-mounted dashboard.
- Useful in the living room or kitchen, where family members can quickly control the home's scenes without using their phone.
- It can be customised with quick buttons for the most frequently used scenes (leaving home, evening, night).
