Sonoff MINI-ZB2GS (MINI DUO) – Zigbee 3.0 Mini Smart Relay, 2 Channels, 10A/channel, With Neutral Wire, Extreme Series

Sonoff MINI-ZB2GS is the latest evolution of Sonoff's miniature smart relays. Part of the Extremeseries, it is up to 40% smaller than previous models, making it the champion of installations in extremely crowded wall boxes. This version (MINI DUO, with two independent channels) uses the Zigbee 3.0 protocol and requires a neutral wire to operate, offering in return superior stability and a signal repeater function for your smart network.

Main Advantages

• Record "Extreme" Dimensions: The ultra-compact design allows it to be installed in any type of wall box (European, Type 60 or behind slim premium switches), without forcing the existing wiring.

• Zigbee 3.0 Protocol & Router Function: In addition to controlling the connected device, the MINI-ZB2GS acts as a network extender. Being powered with a neutral, it relays the Zigbee signal to other devices (sensors, buttons), eliminating dead zones in your home.

• Universal Switch Compatibility: Supports control via rocker switches, momentary push buttons and even dry-contact sensors, offering maximum flexibility when upgrading existing circuits.

• "Detach Relay" Mode: An essential feature for modern homes – you can separate the physical operation of the switch from the relay itself. This way, you can use the wall switch to control other smart devices or scenes without cutting power to the bulb on that circuit.

• Enhanced Safety and Reliability: Made from PC V0 flame-retardant materials and certified for surge protection, this relay is designed to operate in complete safety 24/7.

• Dual Control: Smart and Manual: Even if the internet or the Zigbee hub is unavailable, you can still control the lights using the conventional wall switch.

Smart Automation Examples

1. Whole-Home Sync: Configure the MINI-ZB2GS so that a double press of the bedroom switch turns off all the lights in the house (using eWeLink scenes).

2. Automatic Hallway Lighting: Pair the relay with a Zigbee motion sensor to switch the light on automatically when you enter the house, but only if the ambient light level is low.

3. Gateway for Sensors: Install this relay at strategic points around the house to make sure distant temperature or water leak sensors always have a stable connection through the relay's repeater function.

Package contents: 1 x Sonoff MINI-ZB2GS relay, universal mounting bracket, user manual. (Note: A compatible Zigbee 3.0 Hub/Gateway is required for smart control.)

Why choose the Sonoff MINI-ZB2GS?

It is the professional choice for those who want a robust Zigbee network and a clean installation. If you have a neutral wire in the wall box, this model is superior to "No Neutral" versions because it improves coverage across your whole smart home, while being small enough not to put pressure on the mechanism of your favourite switch.

Practical use cases

• Easily integrated into the eWeLink app, it allows remote control and custom automations, with no advanced technical knowledge needed.
• Compatible with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, for hands-free control.
• Can be included in scenes and schedules, alongside other Sonoff devices, for a fully automated smart home.
