AQARA Hub M3 - The next-generation Matter Controller for AQARA and third-party devices

The M3 Hub redefines smart home automation by emphasising privacy and local operation - without requiring an internet connection. It offers varied connectivity options such as dual-band Wi-Fi and PoE, and is equipped with a 360° IR transmitter that allows air conditioners to connect to the Matter, adjusting them according to the actual temperature detected by the climate sensor. As a multi-protocol hub, it seamlessly integrates Aqara devices as well as - for the first time - Matter devices from other manufacturers, ensuring both privacy and easy installation.

The M3 Hub connects Zigbee and Thread Aqara devices to the Matter ecosystem, eliminating the worry of cross-protocol compatibility.

Control IR devices (air conditioner, TV, etc.) directly through Matter, including in Apple Home - a first. Position the Hub next to the AC and you'll see real-time changes in the app.

• At launch, third-party device support is in Lab feature stage, limited to 3 brands:

  • Philips Hue (RGB/CCT lamps)

  • Leviton (switches/dimmers)

  • Google Nest (thermostats)

• For integration into Matter ecosystems (Apple, Google, Alexa), a Matter Controller specific to each platform is required.
