Aqara Smart Lock U200 Kit – Maximum Security, Retrofit Installation and Keyless Freedom

Upgrade access to your home with the Aqara Smart Lock U200 Kit, the retrofit smart lock that installs quickly over the existing cylinder, with no drilling or permanent changes to the door. Matter-compatible and natively integrated with Apple Home Keys, the U200 turns any door into a smart door, offering bank-grade security and an incredible variety of access methods.

Main Advantages (Selling Points)

• Apple Home Keys and Multiple Access Methods: Discover the freedom of leaving your keys at home. You can unlock the door with a simple tap of your iPhone or Apple Watch (Apple Home Keys), with ultra-fast fingerprint recognition, PIN codes, NFC cards or directly from the app. For emergencies, access with the mechanical key always remains available.

• Native Matter over Thread Support: As a Matter device, the U200 integrates seamlessly into the Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa ecosystems. The Thread protocol ensures instant response, high stability and extended battery life.

• Simplified Retrofit Installation: Ideal for rented flats or users who want a non-invasive solution. The U200 mounts over the existing key on the inside of the door and is compatible with most Euro and Scandi profiles.

• Advanced Software Control: You get features such as „Quiet Unlock” (silent unlocking), auto-lock, anti-peeping protection for the PIN code and real-time activity logs. You can generate temporary (One-Time Password) or recurring codes for visitors or administrative staff.

• Battery Life and Versatile Power: The main unit uses a rechargeable Li-Ion battery lasting up to 6 months. The external keypad runs on AAA batteries, but can also be hard-wired (12V-24V AC/DC) for total convenience.

• Weather Resistance and Security: With IPX5 certification (water resistance) and operation between -15°C and 66°C, the keypad is ready for outdoor use. Data security is guaranteed by AES encryption and cryptographic binding of the fingerprint module.

Automations for a Smart Home:

1. The „Welcome” Scene: When the door is unlocked, the curtains can draw automatically and the hallway lights switch on at the desired brightness.

2. One-Click Leaving System: When you lock the door as you leave, the alarm system arms, the indoor cameras switch on and all non-essential electrical devices switch off.

3. Video Intercom Integration: See who is at the door through the Aqara G4 video doorbell and unlock the U200 with a single press of a button, directly from the video call.

4. Local Control without a Phone: You can use an Aqara Wireless Mini Switch placed in the kitchen to unlock the door remotely when your hands are full.
