NOUS E4 Smart Water Leak Detection Sensor, ZigBee The
NOUS E4 ZigBee Smart Water Leak Sensor is small and lightweight and can be placed anywhere in your home where water leaks might occur, such as under the sink, next to the washing machine or in the bathroom. It works with the NOUS Smart app and the Tuya Smart Life app, as well as the Google Home and Alexa voice assistants, but you need to connect it to a NOUS E1 or NOUS E7 gateway first.
- Zigbee uses less energy than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which means Zigbee devices can run on batteries for years without needing to be replaced or recharged.
- Zigbee can cover large distances and areas because each device acts as a repeater (not battery-powered devices) and extends the network's range. Zigbee can reach up to 100 meters indoors and 300 meters outdoors.
